"Just a note to let you know that the Lord truly blessed us through your ministry."We were with you in Greenville, SC, for our second time in August, 2006. You taught on "Don't Limit God." We were desperate but Randy and I had already decided that whether we received anything from the Lord that just being under the anointing that is on your life would be blessing enough."Randy had been on Workman's Comp Disability for almost three years with a weekly income of $480.03. He was injured on a job as a pipefitter. Our o.k. income had become not o.k. To this day I can only give God praise and glory for managing as well as we did. The insurance company paid for Randy to be retrained as an Occupational Safety Manager. However, due to lack of experience and not having a college degree, he could not find a job."Offering time came around and you told us to write on the envelope what we wanted God to do for us and then ask Him what seed we should sow. Well, I prayed over what to ask for and then boldly wrote what my faith would allow me to write. I didn't show it to Randy right then because I knew he would probably fall out of his seat right there in the meeting. I then asked him how much we should sow because I knew that as the spiritual leader of our home, that was between him and God.
"As caretaker of the finances, I knew that we could squeeze by with $50.00. Anything more than that would be a great hardship. When he said $100.00, I almost fell off my chair. In spite of it all, I wrote the check and gave it to Randy to put in the envelope. HE READ WHAT I HAD ASKED GOD FOR. His eyes got big as saucers. He just looked at me with pain in His eyes but leaving no room for the devil he said "O.K.""You see, Brother Harold, I wrote on that envelope that we wanted God to give Randy a job in the Asheville, NC, area as an Occupational Safety Manager at a salary of $100,000.00 plus per year. The devil did his usual dance on my head by telling me how stupid I was and that our seed wasn't big enough for God to multiply back to us in that amount.
"The thought went through my head that whoever got that envelope in your ministry and opened it was going to laugh and think how stupid I was to expect God to answer that prayer. I rebuked the devil and my own unbelief and kept muttering, "I will not limit God." We held our envelope up together as you prayed and asked God to answer our prayer. After the meeting, we went up front and you again prayed that God would give Randy a wonderful job in his profession with an excellent income. We turned it loose and really forgot about it. "In November,2006, Randy got a call from a man that he had never heard of. A friend had given him Randy's resume and he wanted to come to Asheville and interview him for a job as Site Safety Manager with his company. He did and Randy was hired on the spot.
Bet you know what comes next......."Randy brought home his pay stub yesterday for the period ending Oct. 21, 2007, and his year to date is $79,342.50 salary plus $19,800.00 per diem plus $1200.00 auto allowance. The total is $100,342.50.......PRAISE THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY....... The year isn't even up yet. There are four more paydays in 2007.
